OwnPacket is self-service software for organizing your own immigration paperwork. This is a plain-language summary of what we collect and how we protect it — not legal advice.
What we collect
Your account email (through our authentication provider), the answers and notes you enter in a workspace, and any documents you choose to upload. We collect only what the product needs to work.
How it is protected
Your answers and documents are encrypted at rest with a per-user key. Uploaded files live in access-controlled object storage and are served only through short-lived, signed links.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your documents to train AI models. AI features are off by default; when on, a document you choose is sent to a processing service only to read it, and you confirm every suggestion before it is used.
Your control
You can delete a workspace at any time, which removes its answers, documents, and stored files. Deleting your account removes your content.
